We all know there are two new ships coming from the Disney Cruise Lines. One in 2011 and one in 2012. Can't get here fast enough if you ask me. Over in Germany the Meyer Werft construction docks are at full speed, but the first of the two Disney ships is not yet shown on their webcam. (At least not by name.)
The current speculation is that the names will be the Disney Dream and the Disney Celebration. Both those names are awfully similar to other ships and ship lines. That's the same reason the Disney Princess is a non-starter.
I've put out my feelers but haven't found anyone that claims to have the final names. They may not even be chosen yet. There is one things we know for sure, the names will be the "Disney blank". If you are in a position to know, please help us fill in the blank in the comments below.

Not 100% sure on names. The names "Disney Dream", "Disney Imagination", "Disney Fantasy", or "Disney Adventure" would fit...I DO however know that the new ships will sail on the old itineraries, and the Magic and Wonder will sail on Mediterranean and Alaskan cruises.
Is the Alaskan itinerary for sure for the Magic and Wonder? We went Alaska 4 years ago and I would love to go there on Disney.
I was thinking Disney Dreams and Disney Wishes for the two new ships..

The ship that does the Alaskan Cruises will also do Californian cruises in the winter months.
I would be more tempted to see along with "Disney Dream" the "Disney Wish".
I sure hope that one of the older ships (Magic or Wonder) will sail out of Los Angeles!

"Disney Showman" should be one name. Walt Disney is always touted as the greatest showman ever to live. Fantasy for the other.
I like the name "Disney spirit". I think that this name would be perfect for one of the new ships. My family and I have sailed aboard the Disney Magic 10 times! And we look forward to go back aboard each and every year! We CAN NOT wait for the new ships to come out!
I dont care what the name will be i just cant wait my hubby,my son and I were going to go on our first cruise with disney in Dec 2010 then we saw new ships coming in 11 and 12 and we were like aw we can wait untill next year lol
We just returned from our second cruise on the Wonder. While in Castaway, I heard the two names being speculated are the Disney Dream and the Disney Fantasy.
I don't foresee Disney doing cruises to Alaska since it's not the same market. Alaska cruises tend to skew much older than the normal Disney cruise.
