When Guests Attack

An unfortunate incident at California Adventure was caught on someone's mobile phone. I am curious to know if proper procedure was followed here. Either way, it's always a bad sign when guests attack. We join in mid-action. A belligerent man, who looks like he could be drunk, is being restrained by three cast members -- two Tower of Terror cast members and a Disney security guard. The man takes a swing at a Disneyland Resort security guard and ends up on the ground. The security guard then pepper sprays the guest. From there it gets more interesting. What would you have done if you were standing there?

This has got to be a far cry from the behavior of guests when Walt would have been walking the park, from the belligerent guest right on to the onlooker recording.

It's a sad state of affair, so little class all around.

But boy, on a side note. Where was Disneys knack for crowd control and getting problem situations off stage as soon as possible. Guests were watching from within the queue and on the street, I wish they had been moved faster.

I think my biggest shock in this is that it took guests to help restrain the man. That should not have had to happen.

What would I have done? Doubtful it would have been grabbing my camera and taking video. I think my instinct would have been to get to a cast member with a radio or phone and try to get the security guy in white some back up.

I've seen it before - no security. They intentionally run the other way. Embarrassing :(

Who was the woman who kept yelling?

Where were the security guards? They should have BEEN THERE WITHIN ONE MINUTE!

Disgraceful that this drunk was able to be disruptive for so long!

I found the loud mouth woman far more annoying TBH. Too bad they didn't pepper spary her too.
